Beach Wear
For many people, the thought of summer weather
or a tropical vacation is synonymous with losing weight or unwanted
fat. Putting on beach wear leaves little to the imagination, especially
in the traditional trouble areas of the love handles, abdomen, hips,
thighs, and buttocks.
Extra fat which accumulates on certain areas
of the body might be easily masked under clothing, but in beach
wear, there is no room to hide. Thigh fat might also manifest itself
as unsightly cellulite, making a flattering bikini impossible to
women to wear. For men, love handles or the dreaded “beer
gut” can make wearing beach wear difficult. Unfortunately,
there is no way to reduce specific areas of fat. The way to burn
off beach wear fat is through aerobic exercise, which burns lots
of calories; resistance exercise or weight lifting, which builds
muscle (muscle is the engine that burns calories and maintains metabolic
rate); and limiting excessive caloric intake. Spot reduction of
fat around beach wear trouble areas is not possible. Burned fat
comes from all over the body.
